How and where are your baos made?
Each individual bao is meticulously made by hand in Taiwan. And with love ♥.
Why is your bao so vibrant?
We achieve those beautiful, lively colors on our bao by using all-natural, plant-based food coloring. Our ingredients include red yeast rice, gardenia fruit, and purple potato, all of which are natural sources of color.
How do I store my baos?
Please keep your baos frozen in your freezer.
What is the shelf-life of your baos?
Please check the expiration date printed on the packaging. Our baos are crafted without additives and preservatives, ensuring a shorter shelf life to guarantee that you enjoy each bite at its freshest.
What is the best by date of your baos?
Please refer to the expiration date printed on the packaging. Best by date is 12 months from the production date.
How should I heat my baos?
You do not need to defrost your baos beforehand. There are two heating options: 1. Steaming, or 2. Microwaving.
Steaming: This is our recommended method. Place your baos on a plate with steamer paper underneath. Bring 2-3 cups of water to a boil in a steamer pot, then reduce the heat to low. Steam the baos for 10 minutes, turn off the heat, and let them sit for 3 minutes. Now they're ready to be served and enjoyed! (Tips: For metal or glass lid steamer, place a chopstick between lid and pot to create a gap for venting. This can prevent water dripping onto your bao.)
Microwaving: This is the quickest approach, but the baos won't be as soft and fluffy as with the steaming method. Remove the baos from the container and wrap them in a damp towel. Place them on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on high for 30 to 40 seconds (per serving). Now they're ready to be served and enjoyed!

Unfortunately, we are not currently offering catering services.

US Shipping
How are the baos shipped?
Our baos are shipped frozen and accompanied by dry ice and/or gel ice. Currently we offer delivery services in CA and NV. You can place your orders by visiting our website at BaoBabies.com.
When can I expect my baos to ship after placing an order?
Usually, we take about 2-3 business days to get your order ready for shipping. But during the holiday seasons, we might need a little extra time, about 3-4 business days. Don't worry, though! We'll send you an email as soon as your order is on its way. FYI shipments typically go out every Monday and Wednesday, excluding holidays.
Where do you ship to?
At this moment, we are exclusively offering delivery services in the state of CA and NV.
What do I do if my shipping address is wrong?
Please contact us as soon as possible within 24 hours of your order placement. Once your order has shipped, we’re unable to change the shipping address.

Unfortunately, due to food safety considerations and the necessity to keep our baos frozen we're not able to accommodate returns or exchanges .
